Aria is new in town. After being accused of causing her own parents’ deaths, she flees home to find peace in a town far away. She expects things to be different. Difficult. She knows she’ll need some time to adjust. What she doesn’t expect is the onslaught of new friends she makes. With them at her side, Aria feels like she’s finally found her fresh start. But when her friends start mysteriously dying around her, she’s forced to turn to the dark, dangerous, enigmatic professor from the next town over to help solve the mystery. The only problem? The whole town is convinced he killed his parents.
With their strange similarities, Aria begins to realize her and the professor might be more closely intertwined than she anticipated. And as if hearing disembodied voices wasn’t bad enough, Aria finds herself in the middle of a centuries-long mystery and a romance built on secrets and death. People are dying quickly, and Aria isn’t sure how much time she has before she’s next.
